Maybe this clarifies:

[   23.742264] batman_adv: The newly added mac address (78:a3:51:16:d9:e9)
already exists on: eth0-2_29
[   23.751672] batman_adv: It is strongly recommended to keep mac addresses
unique to avoid problems!
